Kuvings Reacts to International Fake Websites and Social Networks

Premium home appliance brand Kuvings is actively dealing with image theft and fake overseas websites. The health home appliance brand has solidified its position at home and abroad, setting sales records in 89 countries, including the US, Europe, China, and Japan.

Recently, there has been a growing number of consumers confused by fake websites using a domain similar to Kuvings’ official website. Copying copyrighted images and even the text explaining products, the counterfeit websites are selling items for outrageous prices.

While the COVID-19 pandemic drags on, more people are taking an interest in health care and purchasing fruit and vegetable juicers. Those websites are taking advantage of the trend, luring people to buy Kuvings’ juicers.

In March, an Instagram account pretending to be Kuvings’ official account was created, which was then reported to prevent potential consumer fraud.

“We are getting complaints from consumers who have mistaken those fake websites and social media accounts for our official ones,” said an official from Kuvings. “We will quickly react to the fraudulent acts to protect consumers and our brand value developed over a long period of time and gain reliability,” he added.

Since its establishment in 1978, Kuvings has been highly recognized as a health and kitchen appliance brand. Its signature product, the “whole Slow juicer” that minimizes prep time by accommodating ingredients as a whole has been leading the company’s sales growth.
